Optimization of Generator Dispatching Model Considering Load Demand Response Resources

As China starts to build a new power system with new energy as the main body, the difficulty of power grid dispatching is increasing day by day, further reform of the power market is imminent, and the role of power load demand response resources in the dynamic balance of power grid is gradually manifested. This paper takes the randomness of the generator and the operating constraints of the electric power system unit into consideration, by using probabilistic production simulation and day-ahead optimal dispatching method, it builds the day-ahead output model of the generator. Then, further including the objective function and constraint conditions, as well as demand response resources, a day-ahead optimization model of the electric power system has been built. Finally, an actual power grid in a certain area is taken as an example to verify the effectiveness of the model. It turns out that the model works well to solve the conditions of random shutdowns, and reduces the losses caused by power outages.
