Datasets analysis in predictive maintenance: prognostics and health management

The safety of goods and people is one of the major issues in business. In order to keep the equipment in operational condition and ensure its reliability while guaranteeing its high performance, maintenance strategies have evolved from the corrective to the forecast, and more specifically to Prognosis and Health Management (PHM). This article defines what is the PHM, the concepts associated with this term, also the different modules constituting this architecture, then it gives a set of real datasets containing sensor data and failures components (engines, machines,…).
