Distribution System Analysis of Off-grid Distribution System by Graphical User Interface Development using QGIS and the Synergi Electric

The Philippines is made up of seven thousand one hundred seven islands (7,107) islands. In a country that is an archipelago, it is hard to electrify the whole country through a single Grid. Due to this setup, there are certain parts of the Philippines that are connected to the main grid while other areas are known as Off-grid areas. One of the best examples of an Off-grid area is Romblon Island. Embedded Generation serves as the source of power requirement in its power distribution system. Considering that this is the set-up, distribution of power must be taken into consideration to electrify the whole island. The goal is to develop a Graphical User Interface (GUI) for an off-grid distribution system that will analyze and qualify the primary results of Synergi Electric complemented by QGIS in terms of voltage, current, and power factor to the Philippine Standards
