Economical effect of heat-supply analysis of multi-level heating cogeneration unit based on simulation

With the introduction of “carbon peak, carbon neutrality” related policies, China is gradually tightening emission limits. Reducing the power generation of coal-fired power units, and forcing energy-saving upgrade is imperative. As an important means to upgrade energy-saving, heating and steam supply of multi-level cogeneration units have received wide attention. With the decrease of power generation of multi-level cogeneration units, more units will be operated in low-load areas in the future, and the analysis of the economy of operation under the different loads will bring practical benefits to enterprises. In this paper, the heat consumption rate of steam turbine is used as the evaluation index of economy, and a typical 600MW multi-level heating cogeneration unit is taken as the research object. The influence of different heating modes on the unit economy under different working conditions is researched by simulation method. The results show that unit with external heating is not necessarily economical under low electric load; As the electrical load goes up, the economy of unit increase; Low-pressure heating is more economical than medium-pressure heating in multi-level heating cogeneration unit.
