Practical Design of A Dry-type 200kVA 10kHz Transformer With Nanocristalline Core

This paper presents a design of a 200kVA high power high frequency transformer with a power withstand voltage of 35kV. The overall design procedure, including magnetic core design, winding selection as well as insulation arrangement are derived detailed. For the heat dissipation optimization, a blocked pouring structure is proposed to meet the cooling and insulation requirements. At last, the resulting design is verified by a prototype of a 200kVA high frequency transformer. The peak efficiency of the prototype is about 99.S5%.the power density is 1. 54kW/kg and the maximum temperature rise is 69K.
