Sustainable technology, materials and working layout for post covid-19 office spaces

an average working individual spends one third of his life working; that is 92,120 hours over a lifetime of an adult’s working life from 18-67 years. This can have a huge impact on one's life. Therefore, it is important to have an optimistic and productive working environment. The last few months has changed the work culture to a global extent due to COVID 19. Before the pandemic, the platitude had been that offices were necessary for optimal productivity in work, culture, and to discover talent. Considering the short-term and long-term trends and developments that will impact the workplaces, which we consider as the new normal will inhabit post pandemic changes in working spaces concepts and materials. In the analysis we present here, we focus on the relevance of COVID-19-related risks and changes for employees, employers, workplaces, and work practices in order to design more flexible offices in the future that can adapt to a sudden change in the environment. And the main objective of the study is to understand the evolution of office designs in the future. Throughout this research we tried to have a better understanding of the new ideas, the purpose of an office, acceleration of virtual platforms, rethinking of how office spaces can be utilized out of the traditional ways, how to design a safe and secure workplace and also illustrating the benefits of a new form of office layout and material choices that can support the new environment with hygiene and safety and also identifying sustainable alternative solutions for the good health of the public and the environment by extensive market research for innovative products. This can be achieved only by altering the way we build and manage our spaces.
