Analysis and Design of 5G Virtual Private Network for Electric Power Industry in China

With the construction of Energy Internet, 5G power virtual private network will play an important role in it. This paper first analyzes the adaptability of power business and 5G technology. Then, a networking architecture of 5G power virtual private network is proposed, including the 5G network slice planning, wireless network structure, bearer network structure, core network structure, etc. At last, in order to verify the network performance, two typical electric power businesses are piloted. The results show that, 5G power virtual private network can meet the communication requirements of electric power business.
