Improvement The Heat dissipation By Using Different Integral Finned Tubes For Cross Flow Heat Exchanger

This experimental study exhibits enhancement of the heat transfer for four models of cross-flow heat exchangers (Smooth, LIF, MIF, and HIF) with eight -paths. The cold air flows on the outer surface for tubes (1, 1.7, 2.3) m /sec. The hot water streams inner tubes with (2-6) L/ min and temperature (50, 60, 70) ° C. The results explain that the fins generally enhance the heat dissipation more from the smooth surface. When comparison among the three models (LIF, MIF, HIF), HIF gives good improvement with values (329.95%, 291%, and 0.180) heat dissipation, E.F %, effectiveness respectively. Empirical correlations of (Nua) calculate at constant temperature for (Smooth, LIF, MIF, HIF)[1].
