Deformation Diagram and Mechanical Constants of Electro-technical Materials

In this paper, a new criterion (a new equation for the load-strain curve) is used to determine the constants of elec-trotechnical materials. This criterion is obtained from a differ-ential equation that expresses the dynamic state of a body. In this case, the boundary conditions are presented in the most gen-eral form. This equation contains only those values that are measured in experiments. The data of experimental studies of the famous author A.M. Zhukov are discussed in the article. A computer program was developed in the MathCad system. Lame constants, modulus of elasticity and Poisson's ratio for aluminum and duralumin are determined. Also radial strain and stress components in the point of cylindrical sample, where experimental measurements are observed, are defines. Compar-ison of theoretical and experimental values of deformations and stresses is done. The deviations between the calculated and ex-perimental values of axial deformation are estimated. It is shown that the mechanical constants of materials have the same values throughout the entire experiment of deformation diagrams of electrical materials.
