Sidelobe Canceller Performance Evaluation using Sample Matrix Inversion algorithm

Side lobe Canceller (SLC) is one of the widely used Electronic Counter-Counter Measure (ECCM) techniques. It can be utilized to cancel the counter effects of high duty noise like jamming in radar systems. This research presents evaluation of radar Side Lobe Canceller (SLC) performance using Sample Matrix Inversion algorithm (SMI). Matlab software has been used in this research to study the relation between number of pulses used for processing and side lobe level. Matlab has been also used to study the effect of increasing Interface Noise Ratio (INR) in null depth. The obtained results prove efficacy of the proposed algorithm.
