Evaluation of the efficiency and reliability of the use of hydrogen generators in the schemes of thermal power plants in the context of digitalization

This paper presents the results of the development of schemes of electric power plants with a capacity (up to 100 kW) with a steam-generating hydrogen-oxygen plant and a hydrogen generator. A method for producing hydrogen for the purpose of using it for the production of thermal and electrical energy by burning it is proposed. The developed method for producing hydrogen has been tested in laboratory conditions. When developing specific schemes of thermal power plants, it is necessary to take into account the presence of impurities in the hydrogen produced, since this affects the heat of combustion of hydrogen, and as a result, the thermal efficiency indicators of the generating system. The results obtained in the work can be used in the creation of microgeneration complexes, as well as in the development of power supply schemes for remote consumers.
