Research on GPS satellite pseudo-range single point positioning algorithm

In satellite single-point positioning, the use of satellite C/A codes for GPS pseudo-range positioning has a certain decrease in accuracy compared to the use of satellite carrier phase method for positioning. However, the advantage of C/A code is that there will be no whole-week jumps (increasing the difficulty of processing satellite data) and so on. And it is easy to extract weak satellite signals to increase the number of satellite detections, which improves the accuracy of satellite positioning to a certain extent. Therefore, this article discusses the positioning accuracy and stability of the least square method and Kalman filtering method in the case of satellite C/A code, and further improves the satellite positioning accuracy by weighting the satellite data in the iterative least square method. After experimental testing, compared with the other four methods, the weighted iterative least squares method has the highest positioning accuracy and improved stability.
