Orderly Charging and Discharging Scheduling Strategy for Electric Vehicles Considering the Demands of Both Users and Power Grid

Aiming at the problem that the disorderly charging of many electric vehicles will have adverse effects on the power grid, an orderly charging and discharging scheduling strategy for electric vehicles considering the demands of both users and power grid is proposed. In this strategy, considering the remaining power, discharging times and other factors of electric vehicles, the discharging evaluation index is calculated to screen the electric vehicles participating in discharging. The multi-objective optimization model is established with the objectives of the lowest user payment cost, the maximum average state of charge when users leave, the minimum load peak-valley difference of power grid and the maximum discharging evaluation index. GUROBI is called by YALMIP toolbox of MATLAB to solve the optimization model. At the same time, the effects of the different number of electric vehicles and different user responsiveness on the scheduling results are compared and analyzed. It can be proved by the scheduling results that this strategy can meet the demands of both users and power grid and reduce the user payment cost, load peak-valley difference and load variance.
