Application of Battlefield Threat Source Assessment Method in Flight Path Planning

In this paper, a battlefield threat source assessment method is designed and accomplished. Firstly, an uncertain probabilistic reasoning model based on Naive Bayes is studied, and a threat level assessment algorithm is constructed. Combined with fuzzy reasoning technology, the relative threat levels of different threat sources in the battlefield environment are evaluated. Then, a two-dimensional Gaussian probability density function which is defined by combining the threat level assessment results with the geometric model of the threat sources used for modeling. And an UAV flight path planning method based on threat situation assessment is established using genetic algorithm. This paper also compares the artificial potential field method with the genetic algorithm. By analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of the two algorithms for path planning, the genetic algorithm is proved to be more effective and adaptable.
