Bttery management system based on Freescale chip

In order to reduce the design cost and improve the acquisition accuracy, a battery management system(BMS) based on Freescale MC9S12XEP100 chip was developed for the standy battery system of a base station. BMS’ s main functions are monitoring the voltage, current, and temperature of the lithium battery, and also realizing the CAN communication between the host computers. According to the experiment’s result of measuring the battery voltage and estimating the SOC value, it can be said that the BMS is stable in reliability. In terms of software, it is mainly divided into two parts, bottom driver and functional application. Meanwhile a logic task without a task stack is designed to make the software low coupling and high cohesion.
