Study on the Influence of Learners' Trust and Privacy Concerns on the Willingness to Use Online Learning Platforms

[Purpose/Meaning] Online learning has become an indispensable part of learners' lives. In order to meet the needs of learners for personalized learning and lifelong learning, various learning platforms appeared. From the perspective of privacy protection, this article provides some methods to online learning platforms, which can make them attract more users and increase their stickiness. [Methods/Processes] This paper combines the theory of privacy computing to construct a conceptual model of the influence of learners' privacy concerns and trust on their willingness to adopt online learning platforms. Based on the data of the questionnaires, this article uses the structural equation model to conduct empirical research on the proposed assumptions and models. [Results/Conclusions] The research shows that: privacy awareness and perceived risk have the positive influence on privacy; trust and perceived benefits have the positive influence on the willingness to adopt online learning platforms.
