CPW Fed Circular Shaped Fractal SWB Antenna

In this paper a circular shaped super wideband fractal antenna is proposed. A third iterative gear shape radiator helps to achieve a super wide bandwidth of 4.5-49.45 GHz. The designed antenna possesses quasi stable omnidirectional radiation patterns in the entire band of operation and maximum gain of 10 dBi is achieved at frequency of 47.5 GHz. The proposed antenna has very compact dimensions of 18 mm× 14 mm and wider bandwidth as compared to antennas available in the literature.
