Review of Various Image Processing Techniques for Recognition and Classification

India is an agricultural country and the agricultural income is one of the major income source. The rank of India in worldwide agricultural output is second. So the livelihood of the people depends on agriculture. As a result of such factors like disease, pest infestation, and sudden climate change, crop yields are declining. Therefore, automatic detection and classification of plants and its diseases are important. Automatically detection of disease symptoms as they appear on the growing stage provides a huge benefits to farmers. There are so many classification techniques like, support vector machine (SVM), k-Nearest neighbour classifier, Probabilistic Neural network, Convolutional neural network, etc. This paper provides a brief overview of different classification techniques.
