IoT Based Remote Patient Health Monitoring System

As the population of elder and bedridden people are increasing day by day so the care taking demands are also tremendously increasing everyday. Hence patient health assisting systems are grasping importance nowadays. This paper demonstrates regular monitoring of patients not only the bedridden but in whole monitoring of all the patients which do need assistance. We have designed and developed an energy efficient, reliable economically efficient and easily available patient monitoring system, It is able to capture and report real time data related to patients effectively. It empower the doctors and other medical assistants to examine patient’s health parameters (temp, heartbeat, ECG, position) in actual time and also it works in two way process that is not only Doctors or Medical assistants would be able to give assistance but also patient’s guardians will be able to suggest anything they want to suggest the system that is to be proposed for the irregular patient health will be regularly and time to time monitoring the vitals of the organs using different sensors are initially associated with the patient physically or virtually, further connecting them to the Arduino board. Also, in this paper, we have highlighted the various challenges associated with the implementation of IoT in systems involving health monitoring working in real time.
