The structure design and pressure-resisting performance prediction about the power drive device of autonomous underwater vehicles

Autonomous underwater vehicles can perform some high-risk operations and have broad application prospects in both military and civilian fields. The movement and steering of autonomous underwater vehicles require power drive devices to provide energy, which is an important part of autonomous underwater vehicles. This paper proposes a power drive device of autonomous underwater vehicles with good sealing and pressure resistance, which can prevent water leakage and have sufficient mechanical strength. The finite element method was used to simulate and forecast the service performance of the pressure container, and it was verified that the compressive strength met the requirements of working conditions in the deep-sea environment.
