Crimping Experiment and Analysis of overhead conductor reinforced core

Aiming at the problems of low precision and large crimping defects in the existing crimping process for large section high voltage lines, an octagonal centripetal crimping technology is proposed to improve the crimping quality based on the traditional hexagonal crimping technology. After the wire crimping is completed, the crimping pipe shall be subject to nondestructive testing to test the quality and reliability of crimping. Finally, the breaking force test shall be carried out on the steel cored aluminum strand to verify whether it meets the process requirements. This technology improves the qualification rate of crimping and promotes the development and application of nondestructive testing technology in the field of transmission lines.
