PICSEL: Particle-In-Cell Software for ELectromagnetism

In this paper, we present recent advances in simulation tools dedicated to linear beam tubes within THALES AVS. It details the work undertaken in the plateform PICSEL which contains softwares for gun, interaction structure and collector, and the first numerical results obtained. The main nolveties consist in the possibility of using hybrid mesh and high order resolutions for these softwares.
