Automation for the future workforce in Southeast Asian countries - Factori 4.0 project

Currently, the Fourth Industrial Revolution has changed every aspect of manufacturing. The traditional manufacturing and industrial practices are being replaced by the modern smart technology. The system can analyze and diagnose issues without the need for human intervention. Southeast This transition is also starting in Southeast Asian countries. Therefore, there is a high demand for engineers with industry 4.0 skill set. Consequently, one of the most important tasks to prepare for this transition is to adapt the engineering education to meet this vision requirements. To contribute to enhance automation curriculum of Southeast Asian universities, Asean-Factori 4.0 - an ERASMUS+ project has been conceived by the cooperation of 10 universities. This project main aim is to initiate the network of Center of Excellence in the field of automation in Southeast Asia.
