A Computer Mathematical Statistics Study on the Vegetation Dynamics in the Tuotuo River Basin over the Past 20 Years Using MODIS Data Analysis

The Tuotuo River is located in the hinterland of the permafrost-developed Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, and is an important source of the Yangtze River. As global climate warming, the study of its vegetation growth dynamics is of great significance for the monitoring of ecosystem security in the region. At the same time, it can provide important basic data for the construction of projects in the region after clarifying the long time series dynamics of vegetation in the region. In this study, the vegetation growth characteristics of the Tuotuo River from 2000 to 2021 were investigated using MODIS data, and it was found that the vegetation growth in the watershed variable in terms of growth and decline between 2000 and 2021, although there was still a slight trend towards improvement.
