Performance Assessment of SiC Switch based DC-DC Boost Converters for Solar PV Applications

Silicon carbide (SiC) is an engaging semiconductor for high-power and high-frequency devices. In this paper the study of design, steady-state and small signal analysis of Si and SiC based boost converter interfaced between SPV module and resistive load is discussed. Comparative performance is presented in the paper, regarding the steady sate and transient response of Si and SiC based converter interfaced between SPV module and load.
