SnS and SnS2 Nanoparticles for Printing Third Generation Solar Cells

The paper presents five types of obtaining of nanoparticles of the binary compound Sn
xS_y
by polyol synthesis and precipitation in aqueous-ammonium solution with different precipitators (CH
3
C(S)NH
2
, Na
2
S,CS(NH
2
)
2
). The study of the chemical composition, structural and optical characteristics of nanoparticles was carried out in order to optimize the parameters of their synthesis to obtain single-phase particles with controlled characteristics. As a result, the optimal synthesis variants for obtaining single-phase nanoparticles of orthorhombic SnS and hexagonal SnS
2
were determined.
