Detection and Measurement of Harmonic Signal Frequency using Autoregressive Model

The actual problem of detecting a harmonic signal in a mixture with uncorrelated Gaussian noise of unknown power and estimating its frequency is considered. The problem is solved using an autoregressive signal model. An adaptive complex algorithm for detection-evaluation of harmonic signal parameters was synthesized and its efficiency indicators at different values of sample volumes were evaluated: detection characteristics and the accuracy of frequency estimates at different signal-to-noise ratios were calculated using the Monte Carlo method.
