Abstract:

In past few years, wireless multimedia sensor network (WMSN) experiences a persisting mark on the lives of everyone by facilitating in diverse domains namely agriculture, manufacturing, medical, educational as well as military applications. Currently, an intensive study and substantial progress were performed to solve various challenges and to provide optimal routing in WMSN. In this paper, a comparative review between two routing methods namely Hybrid Salp Swarm Firefly (HSSFF) and Hybrid Red Deer Salp Swarm (HRDSS) are presented. The significant objective is to provide an optimal routing path. In this paper, the details are enumerated on determining the objective functions namely delay, memory, transmission cost as well as packet loss. In addition to this, a comprehensive review particularly focusing on evaluating various performance metrics are analyzed and presented. Finally, the comparative analysis and the possible future research directions are also presented.
