Optimal Dispatch for Integrated Energy Microgrid Considering Start-up and Shutdown of Hydrogen Production

With the development of renewable energy sources and carbon neutrality unfolding worldwide, the integrated energy microgrid is receiving more and more attention. However, there is a lack of in-depth research on the characteristics of hydrogen production which is the core of integrated energy microgrid. This paper analyzes the transition processes of start-up and shutdown in the hydrogen production with the standard solution for the hydrogen volume which cannot come into the storage tank. Then the mathematical model for the economic optimal dispatch in the microgrid is proposed. Numerical results show the effectiveness of the proposed optimal dispatch and the operation cost of microgrid is reduced by up to 19.4%.
