Modeling and Optimal Control of Hydrogen Fuel Cell Cogeneration System

Hydrogen fuel cell as a new type of energy conversion device has the characteristics of stable realization of combined heat and power supply, zero pollution and high efficiency, and gradually becomes an effective means of load regulation of integrated energy system. Aiming at the complex structure and nonlinear characteristics of the proton exchange membrane hydrogen fuel cell (PEMFC), a parameter identification method is used for modeling, and model predictive control (MPC) is used to improve the hydrogen compressor control process at the input side, and sub-unit PID control is used to adjust the system output power according to the structural characteristics and output characteristics of the hydrogen fuel cell to meet the peak regulation demand of the integrated energy system. The simulation of the combined hydrogen fuel cell cogeneration system is carried out by MATLAB/Simulink platform, and the results show that the parameter identification modeling and sub-unit optimization control method of the combined hydrogen fuel cell cogeneration system can not only simplify the mathematical model of the hydrogen fuel cell through parameter identification, but also realize the stable and accurate operation of the combined hy drogen fuel cell cogeneration system by using MPC and sub-unit PID control to ensure the economy and reliability of the system.
