A Robust Distribution State Estimation Algorithm for Weakly Looped Distribution Network

The branch current-based state estimation algorithm is only suitable for radial distribution network, and can not be directly applied to the Weakly Looped distribution network. In this paper, a node-splitting method is proposed, in which the looped distribution network is equivalent to a radial distribution network. By adding pseudo load-measurements to the splitting nodes, the observability requirement for state estimation is satisfied. In addition, the exponential state estimation model is used to make the algorithm has the ability to resist bad measurement data. This algorithm can be realized with only a little modification on the original algorithm program, and has good practical application value.
