Abstract:

Integrated energy system is one of the most important development directions of the Energy Internet. At present, the integrated energy distribution system (IEDS) in urban areas, with electric power distribution system as core and coupling electric with cooling supply, has received widespread attention. This article focuses on IEDS with electrical-cooling coupling, and considers the flexibility potential brought by multi-energy complementarity and propose a planning approach for IEDS with multiple energy storage (ES). Heuristic moments-matching scenario generation (HMMSG) is used to model the uncertainties in electric/cooling loads; then, we formulate the IEDS planning model based on mixed integer linear programming. The case studies demonstrate the effectiveness of the IEDS planning method with a 16-nodes 33-lines example, in which ES construction and location site is considered.
