An Empirical Analysis of the Influencing Factors of Chinese College Students' Credit Card Consumption

As a new way of consumption, credit card can meet the needs of people to consume in advance. For college students who are still in the study stage, their economic income is very little, generally rely on the living expenses or part-time income given by their parents, and some students will have scholarships earned by their own efforts, so the consumer demand of college students is in a strong state. This paper selects Chinese college students to study the influencing factors of credit card consumption, collects data through Wechat questionnaires, and constructs a binary logistics regression model for statistical analysis. It is found that college students' credit card consumption is affected by many factors, among which environmental factors and product cognitive factors are more significant, so it is suggested that schools should add credit card elective courses to strengthen college students' understanding of credit cards. Achieve rational consumption, and encourage commercial banks to improve the degree of publicity.
