Research on Surface Discharge Direction Algorithm of Converter Valve Based on Ultraviolet Array Sensor

To monitor the surface discharge with high sensitivity in the converter valve, the ultraviolet array sensor is designed. The propagation mode of ultraviolet signal of surface discharge of converter valve is analyzed by ray tracing method, and the direction algorithm of surface discharge based on phased array technology is proposed, and the noise space and signal subspace of 4-channel ultraviolet signal are extracted by rotating signal subspace algorithm. The positioning results of multiple surface discharges are simulated and analyzed, and the direction error is less than 1 degree, which provides a new algorithm for non-intrusive condition monitoring of converter valve.
