Research on DC Series Arc Model in Photovoltaic System Based on the Cassie Model

In order to study the changes of macro current and voltage before and after the arc occurs, this paper proposes a photovoltaic DC series fault arc model based on the Cassie arc model. An arc fault model circuit topology of the two-stage photovoltaic grid-connected system is established, which includes the two-stage grid-connected system and the fault arc model. The former includes photovoltaic cell components, DC-DC conversion modules, DC-AC modules with inverter grid-connected control and filter circuits, and the latter includes the Cassie arc model and the Gaussian white noise module. The fault arc current obtained by the simulation of the model is analyzed in the time domain and the frequency domain, which is verified by comparison with the experimental data.
