Design of a Web tool for teaching – learning of states and capitals of México through the Mexican sign language

This paper presents the design of an interactive Web tool to teach children with or without hearing disabilities, the states and capitals of México in Mexican sign language. To guarantee the quality in the development of the Web tool, it based on techniques and methods provided by Software Engineering, specifically on the agile Extreme Programming methodology. The main result is a Web tool, in its first version; which through the game seeks to achieve a significant learning of México – states and capitals – in Mexican sign language, which can be used by children with or without hearing disabilities. This Web tool is accessible through any computer connected to the Internet, which will allow reaching more children with or without hearing disabilities to learn México – states and capitals – in Mexican sign language from anywhere and anytime.
