Metasurface Lens Design for High-Gain WPT System

The development of metasurface (MS) lenses for microwave power transfer (MPT) is presented. The design methodology includes the design of lenses composed of dielectric materials for computational efficiency, which are later replaced with MS lenses once a lens design is finalized. The final design is required to achieve a 3-fold power increase, which was met by the lens providing a gain increase of 4.9 dB compared with when no lens is present.
