An Empirical Study On Industry 4.0 Future Practices In Indian Msmes

The application of the proposed cloud based conceptual framework which is an aspect of Industry 4.0 would enhance the performance of manufacturing industries and can be applied globally in all other industrial sectors too to improve their performance. The purpose of this research paper is to determine the factors influencing the implementation of cloud-based manufacturing in Indian MSMEs. Researchers have conducted an in-depth study in MSME's in India and data were collected from 120 respondents who were managers in various cadres in MSME's. The details considered were the company size, business sector, implemented manufacturing model, global collaboration. The objective of the study is to identify the factors influencing the successful implementation of cloud-based technology in manufacturing process and to investigate the relationship between these factors and the respondent's success in implementing their manufacturing methodology. The study has led to the development of a conceptual framework model to overcome the challenges in the implementation Cloud based manufacturing in Indian MSMEs.
