Reconfigurable Wideband-Narrowband Vivaldi Antenna

In this article a Vivaldi antenna is presented capable of switching its operating bandwidth between wideband and narrowband. Three different operating bandwidths centered at 2.4 GHz are supported in overall, with108%, 28% and 13% impedance bandwidth. This reconfiguration is attained using switching from a CPW-to-slotline feed. The simulated and measured results are presented with a good agreement.
