UAV-Based Near-Field Antenna Measurements at 20 MHz of a Reference Ground-Plane Antenna

This paper describes a quantum leap in conducted UAV-based Near-Field (NF) Antenna Measurements along a very large cylindrical measurement contour of 50m height and 20m in diameter. The characterised Device Under Test (DUT) was a 20 MHz Reference Ground-Plane Antenna (GPA). Details are given about the scope of the measurements, of the DUT and the measurement set-up, as well of the aircraft configuration, measurement execution and results.
