Construction of Triplet Error Model and Double Norm Algorithm for Two-color Sole Molded Parts

In order to meet the requirements of automation and intelligent production of sole molded parts, a novel process with robot is realized, replacing manual operation. In the molding process of two-color sole, compared with manual operation, the robot operation requires reliable automatic detection and identification according to the technical conditions and appropriate methods specifically for the two-color sole. In this paper, based on the analysis of the working drawing of the workpiece, the triple model construction is put forward for double color sole molded parts. The perfect model, the tolerance model, and the actual measured model are employed to check the qualification of these parts with the matrix of selected points on the sole through the discrete array of “plum pattern”. Double norm algorithms are adopted for color A sole and color B sole, respectively, between the tolerated model and the actual error model in inspection. For different manufacturing precisions, the adjacent points are interpolated by cubic spline function, thus forming a continuous selected line, realizing not only the qualification inspection but also the flexible inspection for even higher accuracy measurement.
