Automatic winding forming technology for manufacturing Glass Fiber Reinforced Plastic pipes

With the rapid development of winding forming, more and more winding forming methods gradually introduced in the industry, medical, military, and other fields have more and more applications. In the industrial area of composite materials, winding forming technology has a high fit with the preparation of composite pipe fitting, which can positively reduce costs and improve production efficiency. This paper will study the forming method and theory of weaving fabric winding forming. Glass fiber cloth was used as material, and automatic equipment was used for winding. In the winding experiment, 0,0.5, and 1 were used as experimental variables, and the mechanical properties of the pipe fittings were tested by compression test. The influence of damping force on the mechanical properties of automatic winding is studied. The results show that the experimental pipe with damping coefficient of 2 has better mechanical properties. It is inferred that when the damping coefficient increases in a certain range, the pipe quality will be improved accordingly. At the same time, the rationality of the conclusion is verified by simulation.
