Fuzzy-Feedforward PID control of micro gas turbine

In order to improve the dynamic performance of micro gas turbine under variable operating conditions, a fuzzy-feedforward PID control strategy is proposed. Firstly, the mathematical model of micro gas turbine is established according to the idea of modular modeling, and feedforward/fuzzy/fuzzy-feedforward PID controllers are designed for speed control. The designed controllers are compared with the traditional PID controller. The simulation results show that the fuzzy-feedforward PID controller has smaller speed overshoot, shorter stabilization time and faster fuel flow response.
