The stress analysis of gear tooth root based on ANSYS

In this paper, UG software is used to model the gears in three dimensions, and the interface technology of UG and ANSYS software is summarized to minimize the model conversion error during the import process. It is used in ANSYS software to calculate and analyze the root stress of the imported gear model. The traditional simplified formula of gear root stress is used to check the calculation results of ANSYS. The verification results show that the results of the two calculation methods are basically the same.
