Research on dynamic virtual synchronous machine control system of energy storage converter

As the main component of the microgrid, distributed energy storage does not have the same inertia and damping as a synchronous generator, which will affect the frequency stability of the entire microgrid. Virtual Synchronous Power Generation (VSG) control can simulate the characteristics of a synchronous generator and apply it to an energy storage control system, which can realize the inertia and damping support of the energy storage to the microgrid, so that the microgrid can participate in the primary frequency regulation and During a pressure adjustment process. In this paper, VSG control is applied to the primary frequency modulation control of grid-connected inverters in microgrids with energy storage. Analyze the small signal model of the energy storage converter VSG control, and obtain the influence index of the virtual parameter on the performance of the control system. Aiming at the problem of power oscillation in the primary frequency modulation process of the traditional VSG, dynamic virtual parameters are used. Finally, Matlab/Simulink simulations and experiments show that the scheme proposed in this paper can improve the primary frequency modulation performance of the VSG control of the energy storage microgrid.
