An Overview in DC Distribution System of Smart Building

With the extension applications of distributed energy and power electronic devices, the electricity generated by the DC distribution system of smart building are characterized by saving energy, high reliability, high power quality and high energy efficiency ratio. This paper presents the technical situation beginning with an analysis based on power, grid structure and loads. Then main equipment of DC distribution system of smart building is focused. Moreover, the project situation of smart building is macroscopically summarized, including voltage grade and economics, etc. Finally, combining with “dual carbon gaol” and “rural revitalization”, prospects and opportunities of smart buildings are proposed.
