Energy-Circuit-Based Sensitivity Analysis for Integrated Energy Systems

Sensitivity analysis is an approach to quickly estimating the relationship between state variables and obtains broad applications in power systems. In this paper, this method is extended from power systems to integrated energy systems (IES) with electricity networks, heating networks, and natural gas networks based on the energy-circuit model. First, nine categories of steady sensitivity factors are developed, which have the unified matrix forms to heterogeneous energy networks. Then, quasi-steady sensitivity factors are derived considering the physical responses of actual systems. Finally, the energy-hub model is employed to combine sensitivity factors of different energy networks into multi-network sensitivity factors. The accuracy and efficiency of the proposed sensitivity factors are both verified by numerical tests.
