Construction of digital physical hybrid experimental platform for UHVDC with fault protection equipment

The UHVDC system with DC fault current suppression equipment has a large number of power electronic devices, so it is necessary to build a physical experiment platform to effectively verify its dynamic performance. This method is expensive and covers a large area, so it is not suitable for indoor laboratory. In order to solve the above problems, this paper proposes a digital physical hybrid experimental platform construction scheme for UHVDC fault protection equipment, builds a DC system physical prototype with DC circuit breaker on the physical side, and proposes the power interface algorithm of damping impedance matching and the calculation scheme of equivalent impedance on the physical side. The platform can effectively simulate the dynamic characteristics of the actual project, and can effectively turn off the fault current, which can provide a good engineering applicability verification environment for related equipment and theory.
