Alarms Touch Panel for Freezer Food Preservation Industry

The design of an alarms touch panel with local or remote access for an industrial freezer is intended to monitor and preserve food at the industry. The temperature measurement was implemented with a low-cost programmable digital temperature DS18B20 sensor, with a resolution of 0.0625 °C and 1-Wire communication support. Further, the user must manually enter the expiration date in a GUI for greater control over food quality. The graphical user interface was programmed in MyOpenLab use an embedded system Raspberry Pi OS runs in conjunction with Arduino IDE. The graphical user interface includes visual alarms, records of storage and expiration dates, and a graph of the freezer temperature versus time, to know the state of conservation of the products with a long storage life.
