Conditioning of Fuel Cell under Dynamic Switching of Load using Typhoon HIL Software

Fuel cell plays a major role in the modern trend technology such as an electric vehicle, smart grid, telecommu-nication, and medical application, etc. In this work, A short literature survey has been presented on the fuel cell based on the technology, importance, and application for conditioning the electrical power. Also, The Simulation performance of fuel cell with dynamic switching of loads is carried-out through the PI (Proportional + integral) controller based closed-loop boost converter. The switching pulses and the load voltages are monitored through PI controller. The load power provided by the fuel cell with closed loop boost converter and maintains constant output voltage at the load. The source, loads variations, and its performance are simulated in real-time software typhoon HIL control center platform.
